I love this!
Ohhhh, you are so sweet. Thank you so much. I’m glad you ‘love this’.
🙂
I reblogged this on my site http://rachelsvendsen.com I hope you don’t mind. I thought it was a great way to start a week.
Oh wow, I’m so honored. Thank you so much. And of course I don’t mind.
🙂
Thank you for sharing this! It is beautiful!
In the morning I usually begin by greeting God as I open the blinds and let light into every spot there is in the house, thank Him and pray throughout the day. This year I have grown in my faith and strongest in my relationship with Him more than ever because of a simple new approach. I went to a Christian Bookstore and bought a Bible study/work book because I have no clue how to just open The Word like a minister or a more experienced Christian and go from there. I suppose we all learn differently. In doing this I am better able to remember verses and the principals I want to live by in following the example of Christ.
I’m finding peace in The Bible right now and getting settled into my own shoes. I have finally come to terms with how my life is verses how I planned it at 18 just before my first manic episode. Though things turned out completely different, I am far happier doing life the way I am called.
Thanks again! God bless!
Oh, you’re more than welcome. And thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing.
Just lovely. It’s awesome that you are finding peace, have found a way to get into the Word deeper and have come to terms with your life. Oh yes, I think oftentimes life doesn’t turn out the way we plan it. I’ve been learning that we need to live in the moment (cause that’s all we’ve got really). To notice the moments and to appreciate them and not always be looking forward to what the future has in store.
Thanks again and many blessings.
🙂
This poem sounds like a “spirirual rendez-vous”, I need French to express what I mean!
Rendez vous d’amour
Spirituelle union
Dans la pure clarté du matin.
It is wonderful!
In the Morning I like to write poems and find peace and strenght. Especially when rain is falling or/and birds sing in the garden.
Thank you & much ♥
That’s exactly it Frederic. I knew you would understand. I’m not a morning person normally, so it takes me a bit to get going. However, once I do get going, I love, but love and need to spend time with my creator.
As you would say, my dear friend – Ahhhhhhh. Those precious moments are sooooo ‘Ahhhhhhh’.
Thank you so much for appreciating and sharing your morning likes Frederic. Sounds lovely.
Much love to you.
🙂 ❤
Lovely!! This is just perfect, Staci. I find myself longing every morning. I cannot answer why. Just where I’m lead.
🙂 Ohhhh, thank you so much Audrey. And I love that you find yourself longing in the mornings. I think you know why 😉
❤
I’m soooo not a morning person. Well, technically I am a morning – just at the other end!! Lol. I write a lot of my poems between 1-3 am. When the world has grown quiet around me, my creative juices start flowing. This is an absolutely beautiful poem, Staci! I love the line “I’ll touch your lips with coal”. I feel like the Lord showed me that passage in Isaiah when I didn’t feel like I could write for Him because of my past. Blessings
That makes two of us Kirsten. I’ve never been a morning person either. And I’m still not, although I have two young ones that like to wake up before seven. You’d think that after seven years I would get the hang of sleeping earlier and waking up earlier. NOPE. Ugh.
Thank you so much for appreciating this one. You know, I’ve been stumped these past few day (actually couple of weeks). I haven’t had much inspiration and have tried to write some stuff and it just wouldn’t flow. I cried out and then went for a run. While running this simple little one started coming to me.
I know you understand the coal thing. You and I both have pasts that are not the most clean and pure. Believe me.
Bless you.
🙂 ❤
We are “coal sisters,” we are!! Ugh seven is like torturous! Lol i dont think I’d ever get used to it!! I cant tell by the poems you’ve been writing that you’ve been stumped! They have been beautiful.
You bless me Kirsten. Really. I’m so encouraged by you.
Thanks so much for your kind words and encouragement.
🙂 ❤
You are a blessing to me as well Staci. Im thankful God had us meet here on WP 😃
I’m thankful too, my friend. And hey, if you ever want to come to Brazil, you’ve sooooooooo got a place to stay. I’m moving back to our home base in January and it’s an amazing place. Some serious poetry can be inspired there. So, when ya comin hmmmmm?
🙂
Thank you so much for the offer, but that would require me getting on a plane! LOL I fly when I have to, but I prefer driving places. Are you excited about moving back?
Oh no! You don’t like flying? I don’t know what I’d do if I had reserves about flying. I’ve been all over the world, don’t live in my home country, and family all not here. I would have a real problem there. Haha, oh well, maybe if I ever get out to the States then.
Yes, I am very excited about moving back to our home base. We’ve been in the North-east for about four years and I’ve never been able to really connect with the people. At our home base it’s a community, and there’s a lot more relationship and connection happening. Plus, I’ll be homeschooling our son, who has Asperger’s Syndrome. I couldn’t do that here because of limited space. He’s very hyper and loves to run free. The base is huge, full of trees, hills and even a lake. He loves it there.
🙂
It is such a blessing that you are moving back to a community that is home!! It is great that your sin will be able to run free. I might just have to get over my dislike of flying…it sounds so beautiful!
Hahahahaha. Did you notice the typo? You wrote, “It’s a great way that your ‘SIN’ will be able to run free.” I had to laugh out loud on that one.
Oh yes, yes, yes, please do get over the dislike of flying. You are more than invited.
🙂
Oh gosh…no I didn’t!! Lol. I’m glad you knew what I meant. Geez 😊 at least I gave you a good laugh!!
and laughing even harder now.
🙂
What a beautiful poem!!! 🙂 I love it! ❤ I like to drink tea or coffee and write down my dreams! 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words Trini. I’m truly humbled that you ‘love it’. I’m with you on the tea or coffee. Every morning after breakfast, my kids have some time to play or watch something on Youtube and I have my precious cup of coffee (nice and strong) while I meet with my creator. Ahhhhhh, I love it.
That’s wonderful that you write down your dreams. I should do that too. That is, when I remember them.
🙂 ❤
🙂 ❤ I like the time with the creator! 🙂
Awesome! Beautiful to read such wonderful lines in the morn. Words are assuringly protective.: Where the darkness of this world…Fade’s away in our embrace”- Love these lines.
I am still alive…this gives me much strength. 🙂
Stay strong and beautiful!
Ohhhhh, thank you so much Reva for your kind words, and for appreciating the simplicity of this one. I’m so glad you ‘love these lines’
Great to hear that you’re still alive, and I’m thrilled that this one was able to give you strength.
You stay strong and beautiful too, as always.
🙂 ❤
Ha Ha…My pleasure, sweetie. It was a wonderful read. Thank you for the wishes. Stay Blessed! 🙂
I like to be alone when I wake up…I dont like to talk for atleast an hour before I start my day…I love to sit alone and enjoy the clam and soothing atmosphere of the morning…but it doesnt happen every morning…sometimes its chaotic and thats kinda a ruin my day 🙂
Wow, that’s great. At least an hour? That’s a good while. It would never work for me as I have two little ones. I hear you about sitting and enjoying the calm of the morning. I will be moving to a beautiful scenic place in January and I can’t wait to finally wake up super early, make a coffee, find a sweet spot and witness my first sunrise. Ohhhhhhh, I can’t wait. There’s something so magical about the morning. So fresh and new.
Thanks for sharing Aarya.
🙂
It’s a beautiful poem, Staci. Isn’t it important that we have that place, either spiritual or physical, that we can go and find peace and strength? I don’t have the time in the morning to do much other than get ready for work (and collect the chicken eggs), but I like to find peace on walks alone. Being in the woods provides a time for me to reconnect with my spirituality. It almost has a cleansing effect on me.
Ohhhh, I love reflective walks. I have one almost every day at the end of the day post-run. That’s actually when I wrote this poem. It came to me during my run and I had to stop and start writing. Then once my run was done I expanded more. I hope you’re able to get in many walks Rob. I agree that they are very cleansing.
Thanks so much for appreciating this simple pieces.
🙂
aah, simply beautiful Staci ❤
Ohhhhh, thank you so much Neha. I’m so glad you liked it.
🙂 ❤
I loved it ❤
I’m so touched. Truly.
❤
I love this Staci!! I was not always a “morning” person…but whenever I did rise early I always enjoyed it. Now I seem to get up earlier and earlier…and that time time is so important for connecting to t he universe. ..connecting to good energy! ❤ ❤
Ohhh, thank you so much Lorrie. I’m so glad, and humble that you ‘loved this’. I have never been a morning person, but would absolutely love to be. I don’t know if I told you this yet or not, but I am moving to a beautiful and scenic place in January and am planning on forcing myself to get up early and witness my first sunrise. I CAN’T WAIT! I love the mornings. I think they’re the freshest time of day.
Thanks again Lorrie and much love to you.
🙂 ❤
No…I didn’t know that…how WONDERFUL! ! Oh…you will love it…you will feel the new energy of the day and it brings such powerful spirit! ! When you say first do you mean like FIRST EVER??? OH my…what a treat! Make sure you go at least 15 minutes before rising time…it is so solemn…the the fireball starts to ascend…ah!!! I can’t wait to read what you will write…and ..oh…the photos!! Much love ❤
Yes, can you believe it? It will be my first ever sunrise that I’ll witness. I’m sure it will be phenomenal. I will definitely take photos and write about it. I love that you said: “the the fireball starts to ascend”. I’m sure it’s majestic, and I’m prepared for wonder.
Thanks so much Lorrie. You’re a gem.
🙂 ❤
Right back to you <3. I'm sooooooo excited for you!! 🙂
Thanks Lorrie.
🙂 ❤
Lovely poem, Staci. I agree with Frederic, something as wonderful as this needs to be expressed in French. Hugs, N ❤
Ohhhh ho ho. In French? Do you speak French Natalie? I am so jealous.
🙂
Aww, I LOVE this! It has such a cute vibe to it. ❤ Thank you for writing this! I've made this picture my background…so lovely! 😀
These past few days as I told you – Jam! It gives me confidence(?) as in I can 'create' things, and that too food which can be eaten without the fear of being poisoned. Hehehe but really all that gives me strength in the morning is any kind of cooking – from scrambled egg to tea..and tea, I feel good. ^_^
Big smile and chuckle here, my friend. Sure wish I could try your apple jam. Sounds delish. Yummmmmm.
I’m so glad you ‘love this’. Thank you so much for your kind words, and I’m honored that you made this even your background.
So you like to cook eh? Ummmmm, scrambled eggs are good too. And of course there had to be tea.
🙂 ❤
I love this! *-*
Ohhhh, thank you so much. I’m so glad you liked it.
🙂
You’re welcome. 🙂
