I have been soooooo busy lately. The past couple of weeks we have been renovating, painting and trying to get ready to finally move into our own place. The final lag of our ‘big’ move will be complete.

Good luck with the final parts of the move. Lovely words for this Thursday!
Hi Benjamin. Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. I am exhausted, but at least we’re at the final haul. I really need routine back. I don’t function too well without it.
Have a great weekend.
π
Hi stac…. I am sure u know this… But all the hard work will pay off – and soon enough u will chillaxing!
Thank you so much Phb2003. Yes, I’m sure it will. As for now, I’m exhausted.
I hope that things get back to normal soon, Staci!
You don’t know how much I am longing for normalcy and routine again in my life. It’s been off kilter since January. Ugh!
Thanks Rob.
π
love the poem and good luck in getting settled in! β€ β€
Awwww, thanks Neha. I’m soooooo tried right now, but at least we’re almost there.
π β€
Hang in there! hugs
π
Great poem, Staci. Good luck with finishing up. You’re nearly there. π
Thanks Audrey. I’m glad you like it.
And thanks for the ‘good luck’. All moved now, but there’s still lots to do. I’m sure you know how it is.
π
I do and I hope you get a break once you’ve finished. You’ve earned it. β‘
Awwww, thanks Audrey. I feel a bit drained, but that’s life I guess. I should be up and active again on WordPress by the end of the week.
Bless ya.

This is great. I pray that the “final haul” goes easily and well! Hugs, N π β€
Hi Natalie. So sorry it’s taken me so long to reply. I was invited to teach and minister at a women’s retreat so I have been away since Thursday night. I just got back last night, with a migraine. Too much activity, not enough rest. You know how it is, I’m sure.
Thanks for the well wishes. We are all moved now, although there’s still so much to do. Kind of getting me down a bit, but soon enough I’ll have routine and normalcy in my life again, right.
Hugs and blessings.

I love this poem Staci!! And…I can’t believe I am going to say this…what an AWESOME spider…ugh!!!! I am certain you took this photo…amazing. and I wonder what kind of spider it is? I also understand the wild energy of late…it seems that life is a little off kilter. I, too, crave a bit of “routine,” which is a bit strange for me! Best wishes for the big move into your own space…and don’t forget to show us! Many blessings for a beautiful weekend β‘β‘β‘
Hi Lorrie. Thank you so much. I’m so glad you ‘love’ this poem. And yes, I did take the photo. Isn’t that an amazing spider. Hahaha. I love “I canβt believe I am going to say this⦔
I am very tired. Just got back last night from teaching at a women’s retreat. I was gone from Thursday night until last night. That’s why it’s taken me so long to reply.
We made our big move, although there’s still so much to do. A little daunting, but bit by bit I’m sure things will come along.
Thanks again Lorrie and many blessings.

No worries, I have not been able to be here very much lately either. Wow…teaching at a women’s retreat sounds so wonderful, Staci. I bet it touched your heart in a huge way. As far as your task of settling in being daunting, I had the best advice given to me when we had a flood and had to clean it all up and replace/repair EVERYTHING! The man asked me, “How do you eat an elephant?” I said, “I don’t know.” He said, “One bite at a time!” It is advice that I have gone to many times…and given out many times as well. Much love to you dear friend! β€
Ohhhhh, thank you so much for your love and encouragement Lorrie. You are so sweet. And that is great advice. Hahahahaha @ eating an elephant. I’ve ridden on an elephant before, and I’m telling you, they’re definitely not small creatures.
Thanks again, my friend.
Hugs and blessings.

Awesome poem and picture, Staci! Not sure I could have taken an up close spider pic π praying for things to go smoothly with your move. I hope things settle down soon for you all. Moving can be stressful – just think the end is now in sight.
Hahahaha. I kept my distance though. Thats the great thing about macro lenses eh. Speaking of spiders, while we were cleaning up the place to get ready to move, I saw this huge (I mean HUGE) spider on my bedroom wall. I had never seen one that big before in all my life. Eek.
Thanks a ton Kirsten.
π
Eek!!! So glad it was when you were moving!!
Me too. Only problem is that I saw one in the new place too, while we were still renovating.
Double EEK!!!!! Well, spiders do eat other insects so it could be a good thing π π
Best wishes for your moving and renovation process. I can imagine how busy it must be.
Again, it is a wonderful poem by you, I love the ending line, how the light would help any battles!
Thank you so much Indah.
Just finished moving this weekend. Now we just need to get everything in order. Ugh.
Hope you’re doing well.
π
Good luck with the move, and congrats! Just remember… if you haven’t used it more than once or twice in the last year, drop the pretentious pride and get rid of it! Otherwise, you’ll have a cluttered mess.
Hahahahaha. Yea, I already decluttered in January when we moved from the North-east to our new location. We were in a temporary place until we were able to get our own place and renovate it. I must admit that parts of the house do still look like a ‘cluttered mess’. lol.
π
All the best with the move!
Hey Timi. Thanks so much. We moved, and then I had to travel to teach and minister at a conference. My house is still not unpacked and organized, but I guess that’s how it goes with a move. This week I’m going to try and get back into the swing of things.
π
Hi Staci, I hope everything goes well with the moving, like your poem ‘look for the light’. π
Thanks Elizabeth. Everything went well, but there’s still lots of organizing and stuff to do in the house.
I will keep looking to the light.
π β€
Oh my God, Staci! I can’t believe we’re going through the same thing. We’ve been renovating too, but the worst part is that we’re staying in someone else’s house while the renovations are being done. We’re doing some of the work (a lot of the work), but there’s work that need to be done by professionals. I’m so tired and can’t wait for this frustrating phase in our lives to be over. That said, I love the poem! It gorgeous! I hope you’re done soon. π β€
